Dear Alli,

The journey with Mother is at least over and completed. Seems she was so happy to get back together with Father that we really did not even stop on the way back to their land. But such is life as I watched the countryside whip past me and heard a bit too much of my parents than I really desired to know in the first place.

Now I am back on the ship to the lands of Rhydin. Sort of got on board with a few pirates that are "friends" of my dear twin cousins. I really should believe them next time I'm told they have connections everywhere. In this case though, I really don't mind. As long as the men leave me to my own and don't touch me, I should be back to the lands of Rhydin by this evening.

It has been a pleasant trip, but all-in-all, I am quite happy to be returning to be returning to the lands of Guardia. I really have not had much time to explore the lands myself, though I plan to make more time for it when I return. So far the only real area I've been around in has been Taeglish, for I went there to create my first enhancer for the Magic Shop, Betsy the Cow.

I have not even heard if she found a home yet. Quite disturbing really. I wish I could actually get a decent response from the Chancellors on any issue concerning their department, or even one within a decent period or time.

Ah, but I should not use this journal simply to whine on paper. That wouldn't be right. Instead I will think of happy thoughts of returning to my home, which now lies in the lands of Rhydin, though I have to admit, I'm still living at the Guardia Inn. I really should move out to my own place sometime. Perhaps I will check with Commander Tristan to see what areas of land are available to build a home upon. I definitely think that would be a good idea, and a happy one too!

It seems the captain expects we will be hitting rough waters soon, so I'm going to head below and tuck myself away safely until we arrive.

By My Hand,
Brianne A. Alcinoos
